BRITVA is a leading barbershop franchise that sought to revolutionize the grooming industry by integrating Artificial Intelligence into the customer journey. The project aimed to create a high-tech mobile solution that allows users to virtually «try on» haircuts before their appointment. I designed a comprehensive ecosystem that bridges the gap between client expectations and professional execution through AI-driven 3D scanning
My role
As the Product Designer, I was responsible for the end-to-end design of the mobile ecosystem. My task was to architect the UX for 3D face scanning, design the AI-interaction interfaces, and build the professional tools for barbers. Given the tight 10-day deadline, I focused on a modular design approach to deliver a high-fidelity suite of four interconnected applications.
The Challenge
The primary challenge was the extreme timeframe — designing four distinct yet integrated applications (for both clients and professionals) in just 10 days. I had to ensure that the complex AI-fitting technology felt simple and intuitive for users while providing barbers with a powerful, data-rich tool to manage their services and client consultations
The Ecosystem
Client booking app
I designed a specialized interface that allows men to scan their head and virtually test different hairstyles. The process includes a guided 3D-scanning flow where the user moves their phone around their face to create a realistic digital model. Once scanned, users can adjust parameters like hair length and fade levels. The final look is saved and synced with the booking system, providing the barber with a precise visual reference before the client even arrives at the salon.

SODA Nails: Master & Client Suite
As part of the broader franchise ecosystem, I adapted the technology for SODA Nails. This involved designing two additional applications: a client-facing app for virtual nail design previews and a professional iPad dashboard for nail technicians. The master app acts as a command center, allowing technicians to view active orders, customer style preferences, and AI-generated «fitting» results, ensuring a personalized and efficient service for every client

To meet the 10-day deadline, I utilized a streamlined design-to-delivery workflow. I prioritized the most critical user paths — scanning, AI processing, and booking — and created a robust component library. This allowed me to rapidly scale the design across multiple platforms (iOS and iPadOS) without sacrificing quality or technical feasibility
